Well I'm off to study so I leave you with a cute photo:

If you can't tell, I watch a lot of internet videos. I subscribe to a site that has cute photos and videos of animals. (cute overload.com) Studies show that subscribing to the site can relieve stress and therefore make you live longer! Looking at cute things is soothing and puts you in a better mood. So I'll be sharing my favorites with you.

Things are going pretty well. Jessica and I are very excited for school to end. I have my Spanish oral final where I have to go in by myself and sit with my teacher and chat with her in Spanish on Friday. Then Monday I have my final in Sex Crimes. I'm really behind on my reading for that class. I have to read a LOT this weekend. Tuesday is my Final in my Chemical Dependency class. and then Next Friday is my final for my Intro to Social Work class. WOW! what a week! But after next Friday I only have one final left - the written part of my Spanish final. So I'm pretty sure that after next Friday I don't have any more class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooo!!!!
I went out to the highschool yesterday after Jessica was done with school to help her catch up on some pottery. Man I really miss pottery! It was so much fun to dig into the clay barrels and mix clay again. I love it so much. While she worked on finishing her project I mixed up a bunch of clay. To do that, you have to dig into this big huge barrel of clay that is the consistency of really gushy mud. Then you add dry clay powder to it to make it the right thickness. You have to mix it really well, otherwise when it gets put in the kiln to be fired you will have air pockets which will burst and explode your project into little bits. You wedge the clay for several minutes after mixing it to get out all the air. I made a huge bunch. I also brought a bunch of ziplock bags for her to store her clay in.
The project she is working on is so cute. The assignment was to make a pocket about 4 inches by 4 inches that you can hang on the wall to put pens and pencils in and decorate it. So she is making an owl one. It's really cute. She was able to finish the construction, now she just needs to let it dry.
Then I rolled out the clay for her so she could start on her next project. a 4in by 4 in by 4 in box. We got the 6 4-in pieces so she can make that.
She also cleaned out and organized her locker.
Then we went out to lunch at schlotzsky's (amazing sandwich place) then went to the gym. We worked out for half an hour and then got in the hot tub and pool. It was so nice. Then we went to the mall to help Mr Clegg (the pottery teacher) set up for the big art show. It's an art show of all the jr highs and high school's art. She would get extra credit for helping. It was fun to set up and arrange all the art. Everyone thought I was a high school student. Haha. They kept telling me "be sure to sign the sheet so you get extra credit." I finally told one of the teachers, "thanks but I'm in college, I'm just helping Jessica" She laughed and thanked me for my help. She said I looked much younger. (Guess that will come in handy when I'm in my forties!)
It was really good to see Mr Clegg again. After I got my GED, I went to high school so I could graduate from Seminary, get some free art classes, and take some college classes for much cheaper that were offered at the High School. I also took chemistry and Government and some other good classes. One semester, I had three art classes. So I was with Mr Clegg for 3 hours a day. He became a good friend. He was happy to see me.
Today I'm not doing much... Just studying for my Spanish test for tomorrow. I'm fighting off a migraine and can barely focus my vision. Grrr. Oh well.
Study study study!

This is long, but amazing. An elephant paints it's self portrait. And does an AMAZING job! I had no idea elephants could do this. My jaw litterally dropped. This is amazing.

So I just discovered this band today and they are my new favorite. I monster (cool name huh?)
Here is a Youtube link to one of their songs: I monster - Daydream in blue The music video is a bit weird in parts, but the song is pretty cool.
It's very different music. It has a surreal sound to it, kind of psychedelic almost. Which is weird because I hate most psychedelic music. But I like I monster. I've really been into Pink Floyd lately too.
Today has been sort of a lazy day. I worked for a while down at my dad's office cleaning, but other than that I've been sleeping and taking it easy.
Jessica and I went to the gym last night and worked out really hard. We have a lot of fun. We push eachother and keep eachother motivated. We work out for 1.5 to 2 hours each time and we go until we have no more energy, then we go to the hot tub and soak for a few minutes then swim a little bit and get back in the hot tub. I love it.
We've been on a diet lately too. We're doing pretty good. I cut soda out of my diet completely and we've been trying to eat breakfast each day, drink lots of water, eat right and eat better proportions, not eat right before bed, etc.
We have a chart to keep track of our progress and our weight and measurements. I find that having a chart keeps me motivated and helps me see my progress.
Life is pretty good. I am SOOOOOOOOO ready for school to be over already. I need a break.
