The last few days have been pretty crazy. Saturday, I threw a bridal shower for Jessica and it went really well. We had a decent turn out... about 10 people. People seemed to like the games. Jessica kept winning :D She even won the "guess how many Hershey's kisses are in the botttle" game. haha!

Life is going pretty well. The other day we got a new router so that my computer can have internet too! YAY! Now Dallin & I can both be on the internet at the same time.
We have had a good past few days...On the 1st we had an amazing sunset and the sky looked amazing:

It's so peaceful up there, we often just sit out on the porch to talk or look at the stars:

On the 4th we went to Oliver's restaurant to visit my friend Jessica who works there as a waitress, she had to work on the holiday so she had some friends come keep her company so it wasn't such a drag for her. They have pretty good food.

On the 6th we spent most of the day with Dallin's Dad and his wife. We had a good time! Went to lunch at the portneuff brewery that has amazing pizza and home brewed root beer!!! TASTY. Then we went out for a walk at Cherry springs

but the mosquitoes almost ate us alive, so it was a short walk, but it was pretty. I took this photo of a spiderweb that I thought was cool:

Then we went back to their motel and went swimming and sat in the hot tub talking. They are both really neat people. Really fun to be around. Then we went out to the Mandarin House for dinner and had some great Chinese food. We talked outside for quite a while and admired the full moon:

Then Dallin, his brother, and I went up to my parents house to light off fireworks with my family. My oldest brother and his awesome wife and kids are down visiting from Montana for a few days. The fireworks were fun. And so was seeing my brother & his family:

On the 7th we got up and had breakfast with Dallin's Dad and step-mom at Perkins. I had french toast with strawberries and blueberries on it. It was delicious. We had a lot of fun talking with them. Then they came over to our house and Dallin played guitar for them. It was the first time they had heard him play. It was awesome to see how proud they were. Dallin is really good on the guitar :)
Early this morning Dallin took his brother to his activities in Blackfoot then came back to sleep some more. Then we got up and picked him up from his activities then went out to lunch at New York Burrito. After that we went to the Purple Moon where Daynen (Dallin's brother) bought a little tomahawk, and Dallin bought a pocket knife for himself and a awesome double bladed pocket knife for me! Awe! He spoils me :) Then we went over to Main Street Music where Dallin tried out some electric guitars. Some kids came in and were admiring his playing. Then we went to Revive at 5, which is every Wednesday night here and they have local bands play for free and some small shops set up. AhRian and some of her friends met us there as well as my old professor Dr Williams who is in town visiting. It was really great to see him. Then we all went out to dinner and had a nice visit. Then Dallin & I went down and cleaned my dad's office and wandered around Fred Meyers for a bit. We came home and I made dinner tonight for Dallin & Daynen. Then we watched a bit more of Heroes season 1.
It's been a great last few days. I really am enjoying this summer! I'm happier than I have ever been. Life is good. :D
This weekend I am throwing a bridal shower for Jessica so I've been working on getting everything together for that. I hope it goes well :D
